Administrator users can manage the ratecard values within Symphony so this value will automatically be populated when a line item is created. This increases the efficiency of adding new placements, allowing the central management of ratecard values and reducing human error.
To manage the ratecard values, go the Publishers section and click on Ratecard box. Click the edit button next to the publisher you want to update:
This will open the box below, click on the download current file link:
Open the downloaded file in MS Excel and fill in the details for each product:
Save the file and then upload it by selecting it using the upload feature below. Click save once the file has been selected.
Once the ratecard has been setup, when an item is added to the media schedule if there is a ratecard rate defined for the selected attributes it will automatically populate this rate in the highlighted section below. Users can edit the base rate as usual:
Please note if any of the fields (excluding the comments column) are left blank the file will fail to import.
