Depending on your account setup you might come across this field when creating a placement or package for your media schedule. The purpose of this field is to select the correct agreed fee structure that is defined with your client for a particular period of time. These fees are based on different criteria depending on the client. These agreements are stored via the agency's internal nominated system and retrieved via the API for you to select when creating a placement or package in Symphony.
Agreements are always contained at the client level and multiple versions can exist per client. Each agreement will:
- have a name
- have a start and end date
- have a rate (this could be 0 for non-media costs typically but not exclusively)
- state if the rate applied is at net or gross
To know whether or not you have this feature enabled you will see a field marked 'client agreement' when editing or adding a placement or package to your media schedule.
Depending on the date range you have selected for your placement/package multiple agreement may appear in the drop down list for you to select from.
Once you have filled out all the details, navigate to the cost tab and verify the agency fee custom section after net cost. This fee can still be manually overridden if you are an administrator.
