As part of any planning stage in Symphony there is also the confirmation stage. This is when you are ready to notify the publisher of your intention to proceed with the items in your media schedule. Once confirmed, your items will go into a red colour (for further details on color coding in Symphony please click here).
In grid mode the confirm button is located in a different place. This article will explain what steps to take when in grid mode from within your media schedule.
First step (like many), you'll need to add new items to your schedule (these could be either placements or packages). Once added they will be in a blue colour (this indicates that you are in planning mode and nothing has been set in stone yet as you continue to work through your plan).
Once you are ready to proceed, simply select the items and then click on the confirm button (this is located towards the top right of your schedule).
A pop-up box will appear asking you to select one or many contacts to be notified at the publisher side. This will send the contacts a notification from Symphony telling them of your intention to proceed with the schedule and to review it.
Once you have confirmed you will see a success message and the item(s) will revert to a red colour.
