When trafficking to Amazon there are a few checks to make before you traffic your campaign:
- When you first create your campaign, check that Amazon is selected as the 3rd Party Ad Server
- Once you have created items in your Media Schedule, check that the correct Creative Type is selected and that the correct Tracking Type is selected
- Traffic Your Campaign
1. Campaign Setup
When you create a campaign or edit an existing one there will be an option for you to select the primary AdServer (pictured below). Ensure that Amazon is selected under 3rd Party Ad Server:
2. Creative Type/Tracking Type
Next, we want to ensure that the correct Creative Type and Tracking Type is selected.
Please note that once you have trafficked from Symphony to Amazon you will not be able to change the Creative Type.
The Creative Type can be selected when creating a new placement or package (or when editing an existing placement or package). Please see below where Creative Type can be selected.
Please note that the Creative Type is also connected to the Tracking Type.
The Tracking Type helps determines the type of Adtag that will need to be generated. To configure these settings you will need to navigate to the Traffic Tab from within the placement or package.
Then from the drop-down select the correct option depending on the creative type.
For example if you have a creative type of video, then your tracking type should also be video.
3. Traffic Your Campaign
The final step is trafficking your campaign.
Click the Traffic tab of your campaign and any item that is ready to be trafficked will appear.
If there is a mapping error your will see Mapping Error appear in the traffic status column. Please reach out to Adslot Support (support@adslot.com) if you require any items to be mapped.
To traffic, simply click the placement(s) you wish to traffic and click Traffic
You will receive a notification once all items have been successfully trafficked.
