How to Use the Inbox

When is the Inbox Feature Used in Symphony ?

The inbox function is activated when Premium Direct placements are added to the Media Schedule.

Even if you have only added (and not confirmed) any placements you can still begin a dialogue with the Publisher.

Premium Direct placements can be distinguished from the standard Symphony placements by the PD circle icon as shown below.




How to Add Premium Direct Placements to the Media Schedule

In order to activate the Inbox we must first add a PD placement to the Media Schedule.

There are two ways to add a Premium Direct placement to the Media Schedule.

1. Creating a Placement in the Media Schedule

This is done by clicking on the '+' icon in the tool bar and selecting the 'Create Placement' option in the drop down menu.

Once you have selected the placement option, in the 'Manage Single Placement' page, you should be able to search and select the Publisher and Premium Direct placement needed.



2. The Marketplace

Some Publishers will offer their Premium Direct placements within Symphony's 'Marketplace'.
Simply select the placement you need and it will automatically appeared in the media schedule.




Confirming Sign Offs in Symphony

To action an 'IO Sign Off' in Symphony, first select the placement that needs to be signed off and click the Confirm Button on the right corner of the tool bar, see image below.



Once clicking on the Confirm Button, you will have the option to notify the 'Premium Direct Publisher' and confirm that all placement details are correct.



Once the placement is confirmed, the Sign Off Button will be available to click on, clicking on this button will direct you to the IO Page. 




The T& C's that are listed in the IO as highlighted in the below image, will need to be ticked off in order to 'Officially Sign Off'. 



The Inbox Feature

The Inbox Feature is activated once a Premium Direct placement has been added to your Symphony Media Schedule.

Once a placement has been added, you can access the Inbox by clicking on the 'Inbox' tab (pictured below).

Once this tab is clicked on, you can begin your conversation with the publisher by leaving a comment and/or attaching a file and clicking 'send'.

If an insertion order has already been issued to this publisher you will see a copy of the IO PDF Export available for download.
