Agency Administrators set the language settings available to the agency's users. Should the option for multiple languages be made available to the user, the user may apply their preference from the Account Management Language list.
The selection of language applies to all labels within the application. For database fields such as Publisher and Site, the language setting determines the manner in which the field is displayed.
Example:
Within China, the Publisher Sina has an English and Simplified Chinese Name, 新浪. As the Publisher has two names, it is set up in the Symphony database with an English and Chinese Name. If the user applies the Chinese language setting, the Publisher name will be displayed in Chinese.
Furthermore, the user has the option of exporting both English and Chinese name within the Media Schedule Export for activated Exports.
